Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is working with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States of America to jointly realise a satellite mission named 'NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR)' for scientific studies of Earth, Parliament was informed on Wednesday.
Gulhane even informed the Disaster Management authorities and the ISRO, and dispatched local revenue teams to survey all villages in the region for any more such objects fallen from the sky.
Further, the launch of four ton communication satellite GSAT-24 is also scheduled during the first quarter of this year using Ariane 5 rocket owned by Arianespace.
ISRO through its commercial arm, New Space India Limited (NSIL), a Government of India company under the Department of Space (DOS), has been launching satellites belonging to other countries on-board Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), on a commercial basis.
"We will go with solid fuel as it's low cost and gives large thrust. Eventual plan is to shift to greener fuels for our future vehicles."

Glavkosmos had earlier said the four Indian astronauts were trained in abnormal descent module landing - in wooded and marshy areas in winter; on water surface, and in the steppe in summer.
The aim of establishing a S-TIC is to carry out research and product development in space technology and applications.
