Amitabh Bachchan reveals his ‘reason to survive and work’
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 81 on Wednesday, thanked his fans for all the “blessings” and said that that is his reason to “survive and work”.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has been reaching out to his fans that gather to greet him every Sunday outside his residence, could not do so this time owing to ill health and expressed apology on Twitter.
"Apologies… You all came to Jalsa, and I could not meet you… Unwell. Will make up soon. Love you all," Amitabh tweeted on the night of April 9.
The actor had also missed a book launch as he was suffering from high fever, stomach infection, stiff neck and shoulder pain.

Big B, however, posted on his blog that he was recovering.
"The prayers seem to have miraculously worked from all the Ef (extended family)," the mega star wrote on his blog,.
"I recover well and feel much better," the actor added.
Greeting the crowd of fans outside his residence happens every Sunday, and the routine has been going on for years.
