Earlier, Aanand L Rai’s ‘Tumbbad’ created anticipation among the audience by treating them with spooky posters and spine-chilling teaser in four different languages.

And now the makers have released the trailer of the film, which gives strong feelers that Tumbbad is going to be a captivating mixture of mythology and horror.

The two-and-a-half minute trailer gives a glimpse of a mysterious place called Tumbbad and the mystery revolves around the place. In the starting, we can see a family leaving Tumbbad saying ‘sarkar mar gaya, ab yaha kuch nahi bacha’. It suggests that there is a lot of anxiety and confusion about some treasure and it is depicted by haunting visuals. The trailer cleverly showcases the mythological tale that forms the backbone of the story.

Sohum Shah, who will be playing the protagonist in the film, will be seen donning the typical attire worn by Konkanasth Brahmans in Maharashtra, thereby grabbing the essence of the character.

The actor took to Twitter to announce the trailer. He said, “Darr gaye? Ab toh shuru bhi nahi hua hai! #TumbbadTrailer.”

Ever since the release of its first look, Tumbbad has created a lot of buzz around town. The teaser has created huge anticipation amongst the audience who can’t seem to wait to enjoy the film on the screen.

Giving glimpses of fantasy, action, fright, and horror, Tumbbad is a thrilling rollercoaster ride that questions the roots of human greed while providing untrammeled entertainment.

Tumbbad is an Eros International and Aanand L Rai presentation and Sohum Shah Films in association with Colour a Yellow Productions. Tumbbad is set to release on October 12, 2018.
