The makers of The Red Line have recently released the trailer for the drama- thriller and it explores the dark side of our society. Directed by Satyajit Majumdar, the film narrates the intertwined story of two young people, one stuck deep in the alleys of the red light area and other an author with unconventional thoughts.
The trailer begins with a narration by the protagonist, Sankar, who portrays his perception of life and relationships. Sankar is an author who is introduced to Brishti, a young girl pushed into prostitution by her own fate. After meeting Brishti through a middleman, Sankar decides to write her life story and in the process discovers a new found person in himself. Watch the trailer here.
