Amid Kapil Sharma’s abusive tweet controversy that took the social media by storm, an audio surfaced in which the comedian was purportedly heard abusing Vickey Lalwani, the editor of entertainment portal SpotBoye.

While everyone is still confused on the issue, Shilpa Shinde, Bigg Boss 11 winner, has come out in Sharma’s support.

Shilpa shared a post on her Instagram handle in which she requested the media to give him space. She even went on to make a shocking statement that Vickey Lalwani tortures artistes.

Her post read as, “Abusing someone is certainly incorrect but he must be really in a bad situaton. Every artist knows how that journalist kitne torture karke sawal karte hai. Request to all artist, please share your experience. Jago artist Jago. Kuch toh problem jarur hai varna itna talented artist ye sub nahi bol/kar sakta. We all are human, galati kise nahi hota gali kon nahi deta. Chadhte Suraj Ko sab Salam Karte Hai. Pichala respect karke just forgive him. Very humble request to all media people. We need to give him some space.”

She also believes Kapil must be facing some problem otherwise he would not have done this.

Amid Kapil’s controversy, his former manager Preeti Simoes too has spoken about him. Preeti Simoes said to IBT that he was suicidal and hallucinating, urging Sharma’s family to help him out.

Kapil Sharma and Vickey Lalwani lodged police complaints against each other after a telephonic spat on Friday evening.

According to IBT, Kapil has named his managers Neeti Simoes and Preeti Simoes, besides journalist Vickey Lalwani, accusing them of trying to extort Rs 25 lakh from him.

Kapil Sharma also accused Vicky Lalwani of defaming him and spreading rumours about him on the digital platform.
