Wishes from all across the country poured in as actor-politician Sunny Deol turned 63 today.

On the occasion of the megastar’s birthday, fans shared heartfelt messages and wishes for the actor on social media.

Bollywood celebrities such as Madhuri Dixit Nene and Rajpal Yadav also wished Deol on social media.

Madhuri Dixit wrote, “Happy birthday @iamsunnydeol. May all things good surround you, this year & always!”

Rajpal Yadav called Sunny ‘Action King of Bollywood’ and wrote, “Wishing many happy returns of the day to Action King of Bollywood. Very, very happy and joyful birthday, Sunny paaji @iamsunnydeol#HappyBirthdaySunnyDeol.”

SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal also wished his friend on Twitter. He wrote, “Wishing my friend and Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol a very happy birthday. You have ruled over the hearts of Indians for decades with your brilliant acting, simplicity, honesty and love for people. May you be blessed with many more years of service and inspiration.

Sunny Deol made his Bollywood debut opposite Amrita Singh in Betaab in 1982.

A recipient of the National Film Awards, Sunny has also won two Filmfare Awards for Best Actor.

The Ghayal actor joined politics and became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party on 23 April 2019. He won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab from his rival Sunil Jakhar of Indian National Congress with a margin of 82,459 votes.

On Thursday, Deol was seen campaigning for Haryana Minister Captain Abhimanyu who is seeking re-election from Narnaund in Hisar district in the upcoming state elections, NDTV reported.

Sunny Deol also launched his son and actor Karan Deol in the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and directed the film himself, apart from producing it.
