It’s official! Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are tying the knot, and the celebrations have already begun in style. From splashy pool games to intimate Japanese dinners, the pre-wedding festivities in the royal city of Udaipur are giving fans major wedding goals. The couple’s closest friends from the film industry have started arriving turning the city into a glittering hub of celeb activity.
Star-studded guest list at Virosh wedding
The guest list, though expected to remain intimate, has brought together some of Tollywood’s beloved names.
Director Tharun Bhascker, who teamed up with Vijay for the hit ‘Pelli Choopulu’, arrived with actress Eesha Rebba. Actor-director Rahul Ravindran, known for directing Rashmika in ‘The Girlfriend’, joined the fun shortly after.

The stylist Shravya Varma was also there. Actor Ashika Ranganath made her way to the venue too.
Vijay’s residence in Hyderabad had already been lit up like a dream before the official announcement of their wedding signaling the start of a grand celebration. On Tuesday morning, both stars were photographed leaving Hyderabad for Udaipur, accompanied by Vijay’s brother Anand Deverakonda and a few close childhood friends.
A love story years in the making
Rashmika and Vijay first met on the sets of the 2018 blockbuster ‘Geetha Govindam’ and later worked together in 2019’s ‘Dear Comrade’. While both were moving on from their past relationships; Rashmika with her ‘Kirik Party’ co-star Rakshit Shetty and Vijay with a Belgian national, those chapters eventually closed when they met each other.
Even though they publicly maintained a friendly front for years, fans began noticing them spending more and more time together from 2020 onwards.
Vacations, cozy home hangouts, and subtle social media hints kept speculation alive. By 2022, rumours of a romantic relationship were in full swing, though neither spoke publicly about it.
In October 2025, the couple tied the knot with a private engagement in Hyderabad, attended only by family and closest friends. On Sunday, they officially confirmed their relationship and upcoming marriage.
