The RajaSaab tickets: Prabhas’s movie records ₹8.29 crore potential with 1.2 lakh seats booked before release date

Prabhas is back on the big screen, and the excitement for ‘The RajaSaab’ is clearly visible in the advance booking numbers as fans across India are rushing to grab tickets for the January 9 release. This makes it one of the most anticipated films of the year.

Directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, the film brings together a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani, Riddhi Kumar.

The RajaSaab: Advance booking highlights | All India numbers

According to early reports (without block seats) from industry analyst Sacnilk, ‘The RajaSaab’ has already sold 1,23,987 tickets across formats in India grossing approximately ₹3.38 crore.

Breaking it down by language and format:

Telugu 2D: ₹2.21 crore, 79,427 tickets sold, 1,248 shows

Hindi 2D: ₹3.76 lakh, 3,688 tickets, 704 shows

Tamil 2D: ₹12,070, 77 tickets, 12 shows

Telugu Dolby Cine: ₹29,550, 70 tickets, 3 shows

Hindi Dolby Cine: ₹1.12 crore, 40,725 tickets, 1,525 shows

When block seats are included, the total potential gross jumps to ₹8.29 crore.

‘The RajaSaab’ Telugu version shows early strength

The Telugu version in Dolby and 2D formats is performing well particularly in key southern cities:

Chennai: 1% occupancy | 3 shows (₹6.97K with block seats)

Madurai: 0% occupancy | 4 shows

Coimbatore: 43% occupancy | 1 show (₹11.13K with block seats)

‘The RajaSaab’ Hindi version in Dolby Cine: NCR & metro cities lead

The Hindi Dolby Cinema shows have drawn attention in major metro areas:

NCR: ₹65,040 with block seats | 23 shows, 4% occupancy

Mumbai: ₹66,350 with block seats | 34 shows

Bengaluru: ₹45.91 lakh | 166 shows, 5% occupancy

Chennai: ₹3.72 lakh | 20 shows, 13% occupancy

Vizag: ₹44.11 lakh | 77 shows, 47% occupancy (highest occupancy among major cities)

Smaller cities like Kalaburagi, Davangere, Shivamogga, Tumakuru are reporting minimal bookings so far. This is typical for first-day reports.

‘The RajaSaab’ release date

Experts expect The RajaSaab to perform well on day one. And, the day one is January 9, 2026.

Cities like Bengaluru, Vizag, Coimbatore, and Chennai could see near full occupancy in some premium formats.
