Parvathy Thiruvothu joins hands with Don Palathara and Dileesh Pothan for new film

Actress Parvathy Thiruvothu who recently won hearts with her performance in ‘Ullozhukku’ is all ready to step into another powerful role. The acclaimed actor will lead director Don Palathara’s next film which also stars Dileesh Pothan in a key role. The film’s title is yet to be out but the announcement has already created a wave of excitement among Malayalam cinema fans.

Taking to Instagram, Parvathy shared the happy news with her followers. Her post read, “Stepping into a world created by Don Palathara with none other than my favourite Dileesh Pothan. Rolling soon. Can’t wait!”

The film marks Don Palathara’s return as a writer and director after his much-praised 2023 release ‘Family’. Known for his realistic storytelling and grounded characters, Don has built a distinct space for himself in contemporary Malayalam cinema. His previous film ‘Family’ starred Vinay Forrt, Divya Prabha, Nijla K Baby, Mathew Thomas, and Abhija Sivakala.

While fans eagerly await this collaboration, Parvathy’s calendar looks busier than ever. Apart from this untitled project, she will also be seen in the upcoming OTT series ‘Storm’, which has already grabbed attention for a special reason; it marks Hrithik Roshan’s debut as a producer.

Earlier this month, Hrithik took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement about his new venture. “My 25th year in the Indian entertainment industry has given me yet another debut, this time as a producer with our production house HRX Films,” he wrote. The superstar also thanked his partners at Prime Video India for their support and confidence as ‘Storm’ takes shape.

The series features a strong ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rama Sharma, and Saba Azad.
