It began with a simple ‘Hi’. That’s not just the title of her next film. It’s also how South Indian superstar Nayanthara seems to be greeting a new chapter in her two-decade-long journey in cinema. The actress, who has reigned over South Indian screens for 22 years, marked the milestone with an emotional note that has fans feeling nostalgic.

Taking to Instagram, Nayanthara shared her thoughts straight from the heart. “Twenty two years since I first stood in front of the camera, not knowing movies would become the love of my life. Every frame, every shot, every silence… shaped me, healed me and made me who I am. Forever grateful,” she wrote.

The post came on a day of double celebration: the unveiling of the first-look posters of her upcoming romantic drama ‘Hi’. The film stars her opposite ‘Dada’ actor Kavin, marking their first on-screen pairing.
