In Kerala, films are a part of people’s lives. This is why when a Mohanlal film comes up, the mood shifts into celebration, and that excitement has doubled as Sathyan Anthikad’s latest family drama ‘Hridayapoorvam’ has officially been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film, featuring Malayalam cinema’s superstar Mohanlal in the lead, has received a clean ‘U’ certificate, making it ready for a release on August 28.
Mohanlal himself took to his social media to share the big news about ‘Hridayapoorvam’. Posting a poster with the words “Censored Clean U,” the actor wrote, ‘“Crafted with heart. #Hridayapoorvam is ready.”
Music director Justin Prabhakaran also recently confirmed that the background score and final sound mix for the film are complete. Justin, who has given several soulful songs in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, thanked the director for giving him the opportunity.
In his note, he said that it was an emotional journey working on the project and appreciated all the singers, musicians, and sound engineers who helped shape the film’s music.
With music locked and censorship cleared, the film is officially in its final lap towards release.

The fan, in broken Malayalam-English, tries to explain how much he loves the Malayalam industry but admits that his girlfriend prefers Bollywood. In a comic turn, he also says he is doing a pooja just to please her but insists that he himself is a die-hard fan of Fahadh, or “Fafa,” as he fondly calls him.
When Mohanlal, pretending to be unaware, asks, “Fafa?” the youngster begins passionately explaining Fahadh Faasil’s roles in films like ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ and ‘Aavesham’, calling his acting “fantastic.”
The highlight comes when Mohanlal tries to remind him that Malayalam cinema has many senior actors as well. The fan, without missing a beat, insists, “No, no! Only Fafa!”
The film also boasts a rich ensemble of talented actors. Malavika Mohanan plays an important role, along with Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita, Siddique, Nishan, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, and Janardhanan.
