The makers of ‘I, Nobody’ released the trailer on Thursday. Directed by Nissam Basheer, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles and is slated to release on July 9, 2026.
The trailer has been getting strong traction online since its drop on June 18, 2026. The official trailer has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu versions on YouTube.
What the trailer shows
The trailer offers a glimpse into the life of Rajeevan, a government office employee. A husband and father of two, Rajeevan leads a simple and ordinary life. However, his world is turned upside down when he unexpectedly comes across something he was never meant to witness. As events spiral out of control, even the very systems he believed would support him appear to turn against him.

In the trailer, Prithviraj is seen navigating dangerous situations, suggesting a story driven as much by internal conflict as external threats.
The premise follows a familiar but effective setup. A regular man, no criminal background, no special skills, suddenly finds himself in the middle of a serious crime. The trailer does not reveal too much. It builds tension through quick cuts, sharp background music, and a few dialogue-heavy scenes that hint at a larger conspiracy.

Nissam Basheer is not a new name in Mollywood. He is popularly known for directing films like ‘Rorschach’ (2022) and ‘Kettiyollaanu Ente Maalakha’ (2019). ‘Rorschach’ in particular was a well-received psychological thriller starring Mammootty. That film showed Basheer’s ability to handle dark, layered narratives. ‘I, Nobody’ seems to be his next big swing in that direction.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Dileep, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Lukman Avaran, Ashokan, Vinay Forrt, and Hakkim Shahjahan, among others.
Prithviraj and Parvathy previously delivered memorable performances together in films like ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ and ‘Koode’. Their on-screen chemistry remains a major highlight and is expected to be a key driving force in the film.

Jakes Bejoy is handling the soundtrack and background score. The tracklist is expected to include a song crooned by Dhurandhar fame Sudhir Yaduvanshi.
