Salman Khan shared a video on social media announcing the beginning of Dabangg 3 shoot in Indore on Monday. Indore, he says, is special for him. Besides being the actor’s birthplace, Indore has another reason to hold a special place in Salman’s heart.

Salman’s grandfather Abdul Rashid Khan had been posted in Mandleshawar, South Indore, for 12 years as the DIG of police. The actor will be shooting a song sequence in Maheshwar at the same location where his grandfather served. The team is learnt to have erected a grand set-up at Ahilya Fort for shooting the title song that is likely to have at least 500 dancers.

The song will also be an action sequence featuring Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) and Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan).
