Too new in Bollywood for woman-centric films, says Monica Gill

Popular Punjabi actor and singer Ammy Virk’s Punjabi film Sat Shri Akal England has released today (November 17). The actor is seen sharing screen space with Monica Gill from the same industry.
The film is about a desi man, who has high hopes of flying to England and living there. However, having been denied visa three times, the movie shows the turmoil and challenges in his life, and the series of events that change his life forever. The movie’s title is similar to Akshay Kumar starrer Namaste London, but we see a different story line here.
Ammy Virk, who is also a singer by profession, has been a part of several critically acclaimed Punjabi movies. His 2016 release Bambukat helped him earn massive fame which was followed by heaps of praises from all corners. The actor is not just popular in India, but is a known name among the Indian Diaspora in several other countries as well. He is one of the most popular Punjabi actors in the industry.

Ammy Virk’s love interest in the film film, Monica Gill is also several films old. She will also be seen in Kapil Sharma’s highly anticipated film Firangi.
Monica started her career in Punjabi film industry with Diljit Dosanjh starrer Ambarsariya. There has been no stopping for the actress since then.
Sat Shri Akal England also features Karamjit Anmol and Sardar Sohi. It has been directed by Vikram Pradhan.
