Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s new film, has proved one of his biggest grossers. It is breaking one after another at the Box Office record. Now, it has overtaken the first-week record collection of Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2.

Consequently, Pathaan is in a celebration mode not only in India but also worldwide. It has surpassed the Rs 600-crore mark globally, and now is described as a legit blockbuster.

Released on January 25, the blockbuster movie also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham is on an upswing ever since it hit the silver screen. The film had a bumper opening at the box office and the streak doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

The Box Office India reported, “Pathaan is continuing its dream run at the box office with outstanding collections on Tuesday as it collects around 21 crore nett taking its first week (7 days) total to an astounding 315 crore nett in Hindi This is more than 100 crore nett more than original hindi film and 65 crore nett more than KGF 2 which held the highest first week total before Pathaan swept passed it in five days.”

It further reported, “The drop on Tuesday is going to be around 15 per cent which is fantastic and the business on Tuesday is easily the best first Tuesday post pandemic. The trend of the film also remains excellent as it is seeing normal Tuesday drop on high volume business and that too after an extended weekend.”

Meanwhile, trade analyst Ramesh Bala reported that Pathaan earned about Rs 640 crore at the worldwide box office collection. His tweet read, “In one week, #Pathaan has grossed about ₹ 640 Crs at the WW Box office.
