Recap of ‘The Family Man’ seasons 1 and 2
Here is a quick summary for those in a hurry. Season 1 introduced viewers to Srikant Tiwari, an ordinary husband and father leading a perfectly ordinary life, except that he works for TASC, an anti-terror unit. He balanced his dual life while taking on a major terrorist plot masterminded by Moosa.
Although he managed to stop the mission, his dangerous job kept placing stress on his marriage with Suchitra.
Season 2 followed Srikant attempting to leave the undercover world full of risk for a corporate job. But he is pulled back into the action as ever, pitted this time against Rajji played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and an assassination plot against the Prime Minister.
By the end of this season, while Srikant saved his daughter and foiled the assassination plot, his marriage faced deeper cracks. That final scene, in which Srikant asks Suchitra quietly what’s wrong as she breaks down in tears, left fans on a cliffhanger.
