At the heart of this seven-episode Netflix series is Aasmaan Singh, played by ‘Kill’ actor Lakshya. Aasmaan is a newcomer to the industry with massive dreams and an even bigger hunger for success.
Helping him on this journey are his childhood friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal) and his determined manager Sanya (Anya Singh).
The trailer, which runs for a little over three minutes, starts with Aasmaan’s defiant line about being “an actor who creates scenes.”
Soon after, we see him on the big screen with audiences cheering loudly. His parents, played by Mona Singh and Vijayant Kohli, beam with pride, suggesting that Aasmaan is on the rise.

Aryan Khan has filled the series with playful nods to the film industry, including a satire on paparazzi culture. The trailer offers quick but striking cameos from stars like Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Yet, two appearances stand out the most: filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and actor Aamir Khan.
Aamir Khan quizzes Lakshya on choosing between idli and vada pav. Lakshya goes with the latter, prompting a cheeky shrug from Aamir.
As the trailer moves forward, things take a darker turn. Aasmaan, now a rising star, comes face to face with superstar Ajay Talvar, played by Bobby Deol.
The tension builds as Aasmaan is paired opposite Talvar’s daughter, a young actress named Karishma (Sahher Bambba), in a film.
Just when the trailer feels packed with stars and storylines, the final moments drop another bombshell. Shah Rukh Khan himself makes a cameo.
The soundtrack, in partnership with T-Series, is led by composer Shashwat Sachdev, with contributions from Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta.
Netflix officially unveiled the trailer on its social media pages with the caption: “Too filmy to be real. Too real to be filmy.”
Fans don’t have to wait long to see how it all unfolds. ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ begins streaming worldwide on September 18, 2025.
