Netflix has finally unveiled the first glimpse of its much-awaited adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice’, and fans of Jane Austen are in for a treat.

The streaming platform not only dropped the first-look images but also revealed the full supporting cast as filming kicks off in the UK.

Leading the story is Emma Corrin, best known for their role in ‘The Crown’, who will play the sharp and independent Elizabeth Bennet. Jack Lowden takes on the role of the proud but mysterious Mr. Darcy, while the versatile Olivia Colman will play the over-the-top Mrs. Bennet.

Adding to the star power, Rufus Sewell (‘The Diplomat’) joins the cast as Mr. Bennet, bringing depth to the quiet yet loving father of the Bennet sisters. Freya Mavor (‘Industry’) will play the eldest Bennet sister, Jane. Jamie Demetriou (‘Stath Lets Flats’) plays the awkward and pompous Mr. Collins, and Daryl McCormack (‘Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man’) will appear as the charming Mr. Bingley.

Louis Partridge (‘House of Guinness’) plays the dashing but dangerous Mr. Wickham. Rhea Norwood (‘Heartstopper’) takes on the role of the impulsive Lydia Bennet, while Siena Kelly (‘Black Mirror’) becomes the stylish and snobbish Caroline Bingley.

Fiona Shaw (‘Killing Eve’) will appear as the powerful and intimidating Lady Catherine de Bourgh.

Two newcomers, Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery, make their debut as Mary and Kitty Bennet, respectively.
