Dude OTT release: If you thought love stories were predictable, ‘Dude’ is here to shake things up. The romantic comedy, written and directed by Keerthiswaran, is now all ready to make its OTT debut on Netflix from November 14, giving fans across India a chance to stream it in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film originally hit theatres on October 17, 2025, on the Diwali weekend. While the movie received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, there was no shortage of praise for its first half and eye-catching visuals.
Stars Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, and R Sarathkumar, in particular, won hearts with their engaging portrayals.
Netflix teased the release with a playful post on X: “Orey oru Dude, oraayiram problems, zero solutions. One Dude, One Thousand Problems. Watch Dude on Netflix from November 14.”
About ‘Dude’
At its core, ‘Dude’ is the story of Agan (Pradeep Ranganathan) and Kural (Mamitha Baiju), who are childhood friends whose love blossoms naturally. But life, as always, has other plans.
When a sudden twist from someone close shakes their world, Agan is forced to face his insecurities, jealousy, and the harsh realities of love.
The movie also shines a light on the struggles of modern relationships, on how passion and rejection shape emotional growth, the challenges of being single, and the universal quest to find meaning and happiness beyond societal expectations.
Besides Pradeep and Mamitha, the cast includes Hridhu Haroon as Paari, R Sarathkumar as the stern yet loving Minister Athiyamaan Azhagappan, Aishwarya Sharma as Samyuktha, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan as Nandhini, and Ramachandra Raju as the formidable Gajanna. Young Anaisha Malik brings charm as Madasaamy, while Besant Ravi and Avudaiyappan add the perfect comic and supporting touches.
