Singer and composer Ankit Tiwari tied the knot with his fiancée Pallavi Shukla on Friday. The singer got hitched to the engineer in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Kanpur.
Ankit, who is known for super-hit tracks like Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu and Teri Galiyaan, exchanged the vows in a private ceremony. The wedding saw the attendance of only the bride and groom’s family members. The couple met on the recommendation of Ankit’s grandmother who first saw Pallavi on a train journey from Kanpur to Delhi.
The first photos of the couple were shared by the singer himself on his social media networking handles. In the photo, they are seen exchanging garlands and he captioned it as, “You are my today and all of my tomorrows!” #AnkitwedsPallavi

The couple got engaged on Tuesday and Ankit had shared the picture of his engagement ceremony. “I will spend an eternity loving you, caring for you; respect you, showing you every day that I hold you as high as the stars. #finallyengaged,” he wrote along with the photo.
Ankit will host a reception for his friends and colleagues in Bollywood once he returns to Mumbai.
