Mika Singh elder brother Ustad Shamsher Singh passed away in Delhi today (October 9).
The singer himself took to Twitter to announce the sad news of his brother’s demise. He wrote, “Waheguru ji ka Khalsa sri Waheguru ji ki Fateh..Very sad news for our family that our older brother Ustad ShamsherSingh ji has passed away.”

Shamsher had been suffering from jaundice for the past one month, and had been admitted in Vedanta hospital in Delhi.
A well known song writer, Shamsher Singh played an important role in making Bhangra famous in foreign countries. He was last seen as a jury member on the popular Television show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs.
