‘Festival kid’ Tahira Kashyap gets acknowledged for her work only at film fests
Writer and director Tahira Kashyap calls herself a "festival kid", saying she gets acknowledged for her work only at film festivals.
The teaser of Aparshakti Khurana’s first single, Kudiye Ni, is out.
A mini clip of the song, a Punjabi romantic track set in a wedding space, features Aparshakti and Punjabi actor of Qismat fame Sargun Mehta.
Aparshakti can be seen in pastel shades in a summer wedding setup, with cast wearing sunglasses and dancing in the sun. Sargun looks stunning in a pastel blue and pink lehenga. The song looks like a romantic wedding number that will feature on every wedding playlist post its release.

The song titled Kudiye Ni has been sung by Aparshakti Khurana and singer Neeti Mohan. The complete song will release on 31 May, its makers shared.
T-Series took to its Twitter handle to share the news. They wrote, “#KudiyeNi featuring @Aparshakti & @sargun_mehta out tomorrow. Watch teaser!!”
Aparshakti had also shared a post that said, “Verified Director Sahiba with Mundeya Ve and #Kudiye Ni #Releases31stMay @TSeries.”
A couple of days ago, the Dangal actor thanked his sister-in-law Tahira Kashyap for directing its music video.He also wrote a Twitter post to Neeti Mohan thanking her for “training this raw musician”. He wrote: “I could have never done this without you. You are the reason that things have shaped up in the right direction. Thanks for training this raw musician.”
