Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sushant Singh Rajput, the actor who is depicting his life on celluloid, were in the capital to promote the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Along with director Neeraj Pandey and producers Vijay Singh and Arun Pandey, the actor and cricketer unveiled the trailer of the film in DAV, Kulachi Hansraj Model School in Delhi.
While Sushant was a student of the school, Dhoni also studied in another branch of the DAV School in Ranchi.
Reminiscing his school memories, Dhoni said, "When I was in school, I was encouraged in sports as much as I was pushed to study."
"If your interest in in another field than studies, be it sports or music, you were never looked down upon. I am grateful to the school for that," the Indian cricket team captain said.
The cricketer used to play football in his school. His school coach spotted him and told him to try wicket keeping in cricket.
"My coach recognised the talent in me. He always knew that I had that playing style," he said, adding, "He asked me, ‘Why don’t you try cricket, usmein gloves bada hota hai aur ball chhota sa. Football mein haath chhota aur ball itna bada."
Alumni of the school, Sushant said, "Bohot din ho gaye yahaan aaye hue aur chinese samose khaaye hue," and left the students and staff members cheering for him.
"I scored quite less marks and I’m a college drop-out, and yet I am talking here in front of you all. It feels surreal," the actor added.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 30.
