Dating is hard in the digital world but this Tinder tale has taken it to another level. Although, Tinder could be a convenient platform to find your ‘the one’, but be cautious what you enroll for in the process. Recently, 200 men got duped into a Tinder first date by an Instagram model identified as Natasha Aponte.

This woman managed to invite dozens of men at Union square and pulled off the live swipe as the men stood there agape. One of her dates took to Twitter and narrated the entire incident and undoubtedly it left everyone stunned.

On Sunday, the man who Gothamist identified as Spencer made the epic tale public and even urged the readers to ‘get some popcorn’. Well, this 21st-century dating story is actually worth grabbing a tub of popcorn.

“I am about to tell you an epic tale about subterfuge, dating in the 21st century and the fall of human civilisation. This actually happened to me and it could happen to you too. Get some popcorn. *Thread*,” Spencer wrote.

“So a few weeks ago I was on the Tinder machine shopping my soul around and I match with a very attractive young lady. No bio. Fairly innocuous. I text her n we make small talk abt work for a bit then she goes, ‘actually, I have this huge presentation Im workin on for my job, would you be offended if I got back to you in like a week or two when Ive got more free time? Youre cute and I want to meet you Im just too busy rn’,” he added.

Natasha then contacts him after ghosting around for two weeks and invites Spencer for a date at an event, where her friend was apparently DJing. “My friend is DJing near Union square around 6 tomorrow I was wondering if you wanted to go for a bit then we could go get drinks after and see what happens,” she wrote.

On reaching the spot, the man witnesses the most bizarre Tinder date, Apote goes on the stage with two bodyguards and reveals that she actually has invited all the men for a date.

Are you shaken? Wait for it, then she goes on to deliver a ‘Hunger games’ speech and sets the criterion to date her.

Surprisingly, some of her so-called dates went on for the live swipe but Spencer left the place. Expressing his feelings about the whammy event he concludes by saying,” VANITY WILL BE THE DEMISE OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION. DON’T GET GOT. THE END.”

Natasha Aponte’s Instagram profile proclaims her an actress, model, and singer.
