A surprise for Akshay Kumar fans was delivered on Monday morning. Kartik Aaryan of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame announced himself as the lead in the sequel of one of the cult favourite films Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
The 28-year old unveiled the poster of the upcoming Anees Bazmee film, dressed exactly like Akshay Kumar’s character Dr Aditya Shrivastav. He wrote on his offcial Twitter handle along with sharing the poster of the film, “Ghostbuster is all set to enter Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram #Bhoolbhulaiyaa.”
Excitement around the film has always been such that ever since the news was announced #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 became a top trend on Twitter.

Kartik will essay the role of a psychiatrist, as played by Akshay Kumar in the Priyadarshan film. Vidya Balan played the fame lead affected by a mental illness which was treated by her husband’s( Shiney Ahuja) friend and doctor Akshay.
The plot details of the sequel are under wraps, what is known is that the film will be set in a metropolis and will hit screens on July 31, 2020.
The original 2007 film was an official remake of the 1993 Malayalam film, Manichitrathazhu, starring Mohanlal and Shobana, which had already been remade into several languages films.
