From sci-fi queen to box office empress
Zoe Saldana has always been everywhere, but now the math makes it official. She has starred in three of the highest-grossing films ever made:
– Avatar (2009): still the No. 1 highest-grossing film in history
– Avengers: Endgame (2019): sitting proudly at No. 2
– Avatar: The Way of Water (2022): holding the No. 3 spot

She was quick to remind fans that this win wasn’t a solo act. Zoe credited the giant franchises she’s been part of and the directors who believed in her before the numbers did.
2025: The year Zoe did everything
As if breaking box office records wasn’t enough, Zoe also had a career-defining awards year.
In March 2025, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her powerful performance in “Emilia Pérez.” With that win, she made history as the first Dominican American to win an Oscar.
