The news comes after a long journey for the young couple, who first sparked romance rumors in June 2021. At the time, Bongiovi shared a selfie with Brown on Instagram, hinting at the budding connection.

The pair initially became friends online before their relationship blossomed into love, as Brown revealed in a 2022 interview with ‘Wired’.

Brown and Bongiovi secretly tied the knot in May 2024. Later that year, in October, the couple shared glimpses of their wedding celebration at the picturesque Villa Cetinale in Italy.

Brown’s Instagram post showed her in two stunning bridal gowns as she celebrated the day with family and friends. She captioned the photos, “Forever and always, your wife.” Bongiovi also shared his own set of wedding pictures, captioning them, “Forever and always, your husband.”

Before becoming parents, the actress had often spoken about her desire to start a family. In a March 2025 appearance on the ‘Smartless’ podcast, Brown reflected on her own upbringing and how motherhood had been a lifelong dream. “My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” she said. Brown also highlighted the influence of her grandmother, who played a significant role in her life.

She continued, “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.” Brown emphasized that while she is focused on growing as an actor and producer, starting a family is deeply important to her personally. She added, “Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.”

The couple is looking forward to expanding their family even further. Both Brown and Bongiovi come from large families, each with four siblings, and they have expressed their hope to continue that tradition.
