Leonardo DiCaprio had an interesting night out in Ibiza, and not because of his usual disguise. The Hollywood star, who is often spotted trying to keep a low profile with face coverings, decided to go without it while heading to a high-profile tequila party.
But even without a mask, the Spanish police didn’t immediately recognize the 50-year-old actor.
According to a report by the ‘Daily Mail’, DiCaprio and his friends were stopped by police officers outside the event. Dressed in an all-black outfit with his trademark baseball cap and a gold chain, the Oscar winner seemed unfazed, scrolling through his phone while waiting his turn for a security check.
In the background, a woman’s voice could be heard saying, “They are searching me full-on right now.” It’s unclear whether that was his girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 27, who was with him in Ibiza.
A source told ‘Page Six’ that DiCaprio wasn’t targeted for special treatment, it was standard procedure for everyone entering the party.
“Every single person was patted down and had to show ID,” the insider explained. The guest list was packed with famous faces, so the officers didn’t instantly realize who they were dealing with. “It’s funny. They did a double take and then let him in!” the source added.

The party itself was an exclusive affair hosted at a private villa by Patrón and Spanish star Aron Piper. While some celebrities, like rapper Travis Scott, were reportedly denied entry, others, including Kendall Jenner and DiCaprio’s longtime friend Tobey Maguire, made it inside without a problem.
Ibiza is nothing new for Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor has spent many summers on the island, enjoying its beaches, yachts, and nightlife. Just earlier this month, he and Ceretti were aboard Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s yacht during their stop in Spain.
DiCaprio and Ceretti have been together since the summer of 2023. And, their relationship has been a regular subject of paparazzi attention.
