Ninth edition of The Fast & Furious franchisee, starring some of the most sought after Hollywood actors has finally got its new release date. The movie which has been thrilling its audience for many years now, will hit the screens in 2020.

Production banner – Universal Pictures revealed on Wednesday (October 4), that the release date would be April 10, 2020. The official announcement was made on Twitter.

It will now be released in February.

Directed by F. Gary Gray, the movie has been breaking all records in terms of screens, collections and star cast. The eighth installment of the franchisee starred the likes of Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, Tyrese Gibson, Vin Diesel, Scott Eastwood, Elsa Pataky, Charlize Theron and Kurt Russell.

Late actor Paul Walker was also a part of the franchisee until the seventh edition. He passed away in a car crash during the days when the movie was being filmed. However, his role was then played by his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker.
