It feels almost unreal to even say it: Hulk Hogan, the wrestling giant who once ruled the ring with his yellow bandana and booming “brother,” is gone. The 71-year-old WWE legend died on July 24, 2025. But the story of his final days is starting to sound more like a suspense drama than a quiet goodbye.

For years, Hogan had been struggling with health issues. He had surgery recently, and reports confirmed that his official cause of death was a heart attack, known medically as an acute myocardial infarction.

Soon after, details began surfacing, medical records suddenly noted cancer in his history, even though his daughter, Brooke Hogan, insists cancer never ran in their family.

Now, the mystery is getting darker. A new police report reveals a shocking twist. According to TMZ, a therapist who was allegedly with Hogan in his last moments told Clearwater Police that a surgeon may have accidentally severed Hogan’s phrenic nerve during surgery. That nerve is not just any nerve, it helps control the diaphragm, the muscle we all need to breathe. Without it, breathing becomes impossible.

Police sources told the media that the therapist noticed Hogan didn’t show the usual signs of a heart attack. He didn’t clutch his chest. He didn’t complain of chest pain. Instead, he suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing, which made everyone around him panic. His wife, Sky Daily, was the first to realize something was terribly wrong and called 911.

Brooke Hogan, who was always close to her father, has become one of the loudest voices demanding answers. She has openly said that the official explanation doesn’t add up.

She pointed out that her father’s records strangely listed leukaemia, which shocked her because there is no history of it in their family. “It’s weird,” she admitted in one interview. “Honestly, it sounds like BS.”

Brooke also claimed she had been contacted privately by medical workers who encouraged her to push for an investigation. According to her, these professionals believed the truth about what happened to Hulk might be hidden in 911 recordings and police bodycam footage.

Determined to find clarity, Brooke even paid for an independent autopsy. She later confirmed it had been done, though she chose not to share the results publicly. She added that even though her father was buried on August 5, he has not been cremated.
