‘Deadpool 2’ gets June 2018 release date

20th Century Fox studio has set Deadpool 2 release date for a June 1, 2018.

Ryan Reynolds returns as the foul-mouthed superhero with Josh Brolin as Cable in the superhero sequel. Shooting is expected to start in June this year, reports variety.com.

Reynolds is also a producer of the films with Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning along with Drew Goddard assisting. 

"John Wick" co-director David Leitch came on board to lead Deadpool 2 last fall after Tim Miller dropped out due to creative differences with Reynolds. 

Fox made a string of dating announcements on Saturday.

It also unveiled release dates for two other Marvel titles, both X-Men spinoffs — The New Mutants, which opens April 13, 2018, and Dark Phoenix for November 2, 2018.
