Kohli, who is also counted among the greatest batsmen of all time, was born on 5 November 1988. He made his One Day International (ODI) cricket debut in 2008 against Sri Lanka. Three years later, in 2011, Kohli donned the white jersey for the Indian cricket team against West Indies.

Kohli has played 73 Test matches and amassed 6331 runs with the help of 24 centuries and 19 fifties. He has played 216 ODI matches and scored 10,232 runs with the help of 38 hundred and 58 fifties. The 30-year-old skipper’s highest score in limited overs cricket is 183.
