CM expresses fear of violence in N Bengal
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday expressed apprehension of violence a day before the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in North Bengal.
Bollywood’s Badshaah Shah Rukh Khan, who was in Kolkata to attend the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), had an amazing time in the city. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee aka Mamata Didi gave the superstar company while on his visit to the state. She even dropped the actor to the airport in her Santro.
Shah Rukh was in the city to attend the Kolkata International Film Festival and even took out some time from his hectic schedule to meet the CM of Bengal, Banerjee.
The Raees actor shared an image of himself with Mamata on Instagram and captioned the image in his own adorable way.

On his last day in Kolkata, Shah Rukh had an evening flight to catch and was escorted to the airport in the CM’s personal car!
No security concerns for SRK in Kolkata, as he has a huge fan base there, owing to his cricket club (Kolkata Knight Riders). The reason why Mamata Didi (fondly called as ‘Didi’) gave a ride to SRK was because the actor had to catch a flight in the evening for which he was already late.

What a humble gesture by the CM. Nonetheless, the gentleman he is, SRK didn’t forget to thank Mamata Didi as he touched her feet and gave her a farewell hug.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is busy filming for Anand L Rai’s next, which reunites him with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
