Sonakshi speaks up: Have been trying to prove time & again ‘main acchhi actor hoon’
Sonakshi was in New Delhi for the trailer launch of Bhansli’s debut series, where she talked about how she has been presented in a different light.
Diana Penty’s Happy Bhag Jayegi turned out to be a hit and Diana was appreciated for her role. Then in October 2017, the sequel to Happy Bhag Jayegi was announced and along with the cocktail actress, Sonakshi Sinha was roped in for the main lead.
Both the actresses will play the roles of the women who will run away from home. Both, Diana and Sonakshi, shared their film’s teaser on Tuesday afternoon.

Sonakshi tweeted about the movie and said, “Nayi Happy se milne ke liye taiyyar ho jaaiye– 24th AUGUST ko Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi! #HappyNews @mudassar_as_is @jassi1gill @dianapenty @jimmysheirgill @ErosNow @cypplOfficial.”

‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ is directed by Mudassar Aziz who had also helmed the first part. Punjabi actor-singer Jassi Gill will be making his Bollywood debut with the film. The film will release on August 24.
