Just when we thought ‘Dhurandhar 2’ couldn’t get any bigger, whispers of a jaw-dropping addition have set social media buzzing. Yes, Vicky Kaushal, our very own Major Vihaan Shergill from ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, is reportedly joining the Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal-starring extravaganza.

And no, it’s not just a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo. Rumour has it that Vicky is bringing his action-packed Uri energy to the ‘Dhurandhar’ universe in a way fans never expected.

Uri-Dhurandhar crossover

Sources close to the film have spilled some exciting tea. According to Mid-Day, director Aditya Dhar, who masterminded Uri’s cinematic magic, is quietly building a “connected universe” rather than just churning out another sequel.

“He has smartly woven in a track from ‘Uri’ despite the different timelines,” revealed a source. The war drama’s 2016 hero, Major Vihaan Shergill, makes his appearance in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ with some high-octane action sequences.

But here’s the kicker. Whether Ranveer Singh’s character actually crosses paths with Vicky’s remains a mystery.

Early bird gets the action

Vicky reportedly shot his portions for ‘Dhurandhar 2’ last year. Yes, even before the first ‘Dhurandhar’ hit theatres.

The insider said, “Vicky is one of Aditya’s favourite actors. The director was thrilled to design sequences that could serve as a foundation for a spin-off or bigger storyline down the line.”

So, don’t be shocked if this isn’t just a cameo.

Aditya Dhar-Vicky Kaushal friendship
