According to Box Office India collection, the film earned Rs 11.5 crore on Day 5, which sums up to a total of Rs 55.1 crore.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga: Made in India has been having an excellent run at the box office collecting Rs 43.06 crore in four days of release.

The film, which had a slow start on Day 1, saw a surge on Day 2 of its release and earned Rs 16.05 crore on Day 3 (Sunday). Monday being a working day, Day 4 saw Rs 7 crore earning but the film minted Rs 11.5 crore on Tuesday, which was a holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to this social media handles shared the collections. His post reads, “#SuiDhaaga has a STRONG Day 4… A decline of 15.66% on Day 4 [vis-à-vis Day 1] indicates SOLID HOLD… Big holiday today will boost biz and add to a BIG TOTAL… Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr, Mon 7 cr. Total: ₹ 43.60 cr. India biz.”

According to Box Office India collection, the film earned Rs 11.5 crore on Day 5, which sums up to a total of Rs 55.1 crore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He added in another tweet: “Bit early to guesstimate the biz of #SuiDhaaga on a national holiday [today]… A big holiday ensures enhanced footfalls and in this case, a double digit total is a certainty… Since the family audience are patronising the film, a consistent run on subsequent days is assured.”

The film was released on September 28 and is running in over 2500 screens across the country. Also, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha starring Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra was released on the same day but it opened to a slow start.

The film is directed by Sharat Katariya and helmed by Yash Raj Films, the film also marks as the first time Anushka ad Varun sharing silver screen.
