Abhishek was at his peak in late 2000s and was one of the leading men of Bollywood. He solidified his status by acting in some of the most successful films of all time. One such example is the 2007 film Guru, where he gained a lot of weight to look exactly like Dhirubai Ambani on whom the film was based. Abhishek’s transformation set up new goals as it defined the lengths of transformation is not just restricted to shredding fat and have six pack abs.

Rajkummar Rao

Bollywood Transformations

If 2017 belonged to one actor then it’s Rajkummar Rao. The actor had a booked year with multiple releases and a web-series based on the freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose. But every special thing has a price. And Rajkummar learned it the ‘hard’ way. The actor transformed himself by shedding those few inches for his films Behan Hogi Teri and Bareily Ki Barfi. But then again he underwent a reverse transformation for Bose: Dead/Alive, where he had to gain weight to look exactly like Bose. What is more impressive is the fact that Rajkummar lost all that chubby fat right after the series was over and got back in shape. This actor certainly raises the bar for his colleagues.

Bhumi Pednekar

Did you know Bhumi was a model before her big Bollywood debut? Well Bhumi had to go from fab to fat for her first film. Bhumi left a significant mark in the industry with Dum Laga Ke Haisha and received unanimous praise for her performance. But that was not all. Bhumi sweat it out all in the gym and got back to being fab in a very less time. The Tinsel Town was surprised to see Bhumi’s shocking transformation in less than an year.
