Just a day after Salman Khan teased his new project with South director Vamshi Paidipally, fans got another big surprise: actress Nayanthara is officially on board. The announcement was made by Sri Venkateswara Creations on their X handle, calling it a “truly special” collaboration.

This marks Nayanthara’s second Bollywood outing after her successful debut with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawan’ (2023).

Sri Venkateswara Creations wrote on social media, “The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence NAYANTHARA joins Salman Khan-Vamshi Paidipally Film. It’s an honour to have you on board for something truly special that’s underway.”

On Monday, Salman Khan himself shared a candid picture with director Vamshi Paidipally on Instagram, teasing fans about the project. He wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with Director Vamshi and Dil Raju.”

Director Vamshi Paidipally also expressed his excitement online. Calling it an “honour” to work with Salman, he wrote, “Honored to collaborate with Salman Khan Sir for my next film. This one is Powered by Heart and Driven by Conviction. April. We Begin.”

Details about the storyline and other cast members are still under wraps. However, the combination of Salman Khan, Nayanthara, and Vamshi Paidipally has already created massive curiosity.

Salman’s other project on the horizon

While fans wait for this new collaboration, Salman is also prepping for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’.

Produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China.

Chitrangada Singh stars alongside Salman, and the teaser released last December gave fans a glimpse of him as a brave Indian Army officer.
