It has been four months now that Swara Bhasker’s Veere Di Wedding hit the screens but the 30-year-old actress continues to face backlash over the ‘controversial’ masturbation scene.

Swara, who has relentlessly slammed trolls in the past, did not hold back after a Twitter user tweeted the masturbation scene from the film to her father.

C Uday Bhaskar, Swara Bhasker’s father took to Twitter to express his happiness after the decriminalisation of homosexuality. Asking about his thoughts on Swara’s controversial scene from Veere Di Wedding, the Twitter user replied to the post with a screenshot of the scene.

But the troll did not expect a befitting reply from the actress herself, who took no time to fire back.

“I’m an ‘actor’ & I’m ‘acting’ like I’m using a vibrator Palash. U don’t need to ask my father, you can ask me directly the next time you have any doubts! p.s. drop the Veer from your name bro, anyone trying to shame an older person by such cheap tactics is not v brave! Cheers,” she wrote.

Speaking about trolls, the actress had earlier said, “I have no comments for people who are petty, who are hypocritical or who slut-shame. I also have no comments for idiots. Currently, I am ignoring these people and feeling very happy with the rest of the team of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ about the success of the film.”

“I have been targeted by paid trolling in the past and I’m used to it. Many twitter-users and some prominent comedians and commentators have turned the ‘I took my Grandmother to watch VDW’ into very funny satirical comments on twitter. I’m grateful both for their support and their humour,” she added.
