‘Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya’ was the mahurat shot for ‘Judwaa 2’ reveals the BTS

The makers of ‘Judwaa 2’ decided to begin the film with the blessings of Ganpati Bappa. The song ‘Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya’ is not only the introductory scene of Varun Dhawan as his tapori avatar Raja but also the mahurat shot of ‘Judwaa 2’.

The video showcases Varun Dhawan grooving to the tunes of choreographer Ganesh Acharya. The entire song is shot on the elaborate set of a Ganpati pandal.

The song showcases the production values risen notches higher with the elaborate set built for it.

The BTS also has the actor expressing his thoughts about the song as he says that ‘Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya’ is different from other Ganpati songs, “The idea with this song was to make it different from other devotional songs. Usually Ganpati songs are devotional, this one too being devotional is different as we have added a fun twist, we have treated Ganpati like my best friend and I talk to him.”

Present with the monochromatic effect focusing on only Varun Dhawan, the BTS video is equally entertaining as the song.

‘Judwaa 2’ is the revamped version of the 1997 Salman Khan starrer Judwaa. Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Judwaa 2’ is a film packed with action, drama, humour and romance just like the original film.

The trailer of the comedy film has left the audience in splits with its perfectly timed jokes and brilliant performances. The songs ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 se 12’, ‘Suno Ganpati Bappa’, ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ and ‘Aa Toh Sahi’ have got everyone dancing to its tunes.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Judwaa 2’ directed by David Dhawan will have Varun Dhawan bringing back to celluloid the iconic characters Raja and Prem portrayed by Salman Khan in ‘Judwaa’. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu will be seen stepping into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor and Rambha respectively.

There has been huge anticipation to witness the evergreen classic get a contemporary twist.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 is presented by Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is slated to release this 29th September.
