Varun Dhawan, quite literally, implored to get a song for his character Mauji in Sui Dhaaga. The 31-year-old actor, who was determined to film a song which he believed the Indian audience needed, reached to Anu Malik to get the right track.
Varun would soon be seen playing the character of Mauji, a tailor from Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, in his forthcoming film Sui Dhaaga. Mauji, as his name suggests, is a carefree, happy-go-lucky person, and demanded a song that suited him well. Look how far he went for it.
On 20 September, the actor took to Twitter and shared a clip where he teased the audience with a glimpse of the ‘Sab Badhiya Hai’ song, and the trouble he went through to get it. Varun sits down the producer and director to convince them to include a song. When he fails in that, he heads to Anu Malik and finally ends up composing the apt song. “Breaking- its been an UPHILL task convincing my producer @yrf MANEESH and director SHARAT to shoot the #sabbadhiyaahai song with me this is what I finally did. The tease of #sababdhiyaahai. Song out tomorrow,” the tweet read.

Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is a heart-warming story rooted in the Indian milieu and celebrates the spirit of self-reliance. It calls on the passion of shaping one’s own destiny through the beautifully touching love story between the two pivotal characters played by Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma.
The love story is helmed by Sharat Katariya and is scheduled to hit the screens on September 28.
