Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has landed in a legal trouble related to the purchase of land in Maharashtra.

Suhana, as per the reports, acquired a plot of land in Thal village that was initially allocated by the government to farmers for agriculture purposes only.

The policy demands special permissions and documentation before such land can be sold. But officials say those formalities were not followed.

The property transaction is reportedly worth close to ₹12.91 crore. Suhana bought it from Khote family, who reside in the posh Cuffe Parade locality of Mumbai. She also paid approximately ₹77.46 lakh as stamp duty while making the deal.

The transaction took place on May 30, 2023, via Standard Chartered Bank.

Now, the case is under investigation. The Resident Deputy Commissioner of Police has asked the Alibaug tehsildar to submit a neutral report on the case prior to further action.

This legal controversy has brought Suhana into the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Apart from this, her career as well is gaining headlines. She is all ready to work on her second film, ‘King’, where she will share screen space with her father.

The project is being looked upon as a high point in Suhana’s career after making her acting debut with ‘The Archies’. It was a Netflix production that did not make a good impression on the critics and audiences.

Interestingly, her father Shah Rukh Khan suffered a setback recently while filming ‘King’. The superstar hurt his arm while shooting an intense action sequence and had to abort his shooting schedule.
