Luv Ranjan’s latest film Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety continues to create its magic at the box office in India and will most probably cross Rs 50-crore mark in Weekend 2.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharuch and Sunny Singh, has already crossed the Rs 40-crore mark and is now speeding towards the half century mark, which might be surpassed in the second weekend.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the film’s day six figures on his Instagram account. It has earned Rs 4.41-crore taking the total collections to Rs 41.08-crore.

The film, which was released on February 23, has scored big time at the ticket counter despite other big releases like Pad Man and Aiyaary still running in cinema houses.

As per reports, the film had the third best weekend collections after Padmaavat and Pad Man and has already surpassed the lifetime collections of many films like Kaalakaandi, 1921 and Aiyaary.

Also it is being reported that the film is doing a fair business in the overseas market as well.

Now, the film is eying for the Rs 50-crore mark and if happens, then SKTKS will be the biggest hit for Ranjan and his leading actors.

The film opened to positive reviews from the fans and critics, who have praised the storyline and the performances of all the three lead actors.

With the release of SKTKS, Ranjan has indeed proved why you don’t need A-list actors and certainly no remakes to helm a successful film. All you need is to work on the entertainment quotient. Way to go Mr Ranjan.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was released worldwide on February 23.
