Actress Soni Razdan recently had a very special experience, as she met the Dalai Lama. She shared this moment with her fans on social media, posting a few pictures from the meeting.

In her post, Razdan said the meeting was something she couldn’t fully describe in words. “Some experiences don’t need words. They don’t need explanations. Pure feeling is enough,” she wrote.

She thanked the people who helped make this meeting possible and added a folded hands emoji to express her deep gratitude.

This spiritual experience seems to have moved her deeply, and it comes at a time when she’s also been thinking about her family’s history and current events in the world.

Just a few days earlier, Razdan opened up about her connection to the suffering in Palestine. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she talked about her grandfather, who lived during the time of Nazi Germany. She revealed that during the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust, her grandfather ran an underground newspaper that spoke out against Hitler and the Nazi regime.

Even though it was a dangerous time, her grandfather was brave enough to spread the truth. Eventually, he was caught, arrested, and sent to prison and then to a concentration camp. Razdan said he was lucky to have a good lawyer, which led to his release. But he faced ban from returning to Germany for life.

She expressed great pride in her grandfather’s bravery, saying, “My grandfather had the courage to stand up against a tyrant all those years ago.” Reflecting on today’s events, she added, “When I see what is happening in Palestine today, I am so glad he is no longer alive. It would have broken him.”

Razdan also shared her belief that many Jews do not support the violence in Palestine, just like not all Germans supported Hitler during World War II. But she pointed out that very few people had the courage to stand up for what is right, just like her grandfather did.
