After winning the National Award for Best Actor for his film ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh received warm wishes from across the country. Among the many messages was a special one from Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor, who wrote on social media platform X, “A National Treasure wins a National Award!”

This moment came after a wave of congratulations from other celebrities in the film industry. Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Juhi Chawla, Sonu Sood, AR Rahman, Allu Arjun, Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Riteish Deshmukh, Suriya Sivakumar, and Ravi Kishan were among the many who congratulated the actor online.

Shah Rukh Khan earned the prestigious Best Actor title at the 71st National Film Awards for his role in ‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee. In the film, he played a dual role, a father and a son, fighting against injustice. The film also featured Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani.
After the announcement of the award, Shah Rukh shared a heartfelt message with his fans. “Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Thanks to the jury, the I\&B ministry… Iss samman ke liye Bharat Sarkar ka dhanyawaad. Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today,” he wrote.
Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in director Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film ‘King’. There are rumours that Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Abhishek Bachchan might be part of the cast. But nothing official has been out yet.
