Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has slammed the reports that said he was suffering from a stomach cancer. The reports speculating Shahid’s health started surfacing on the web last week .
The actor was in Delhi with wife Mira Rajput and two children—Misha and Zain. Quashing the reports, he took to Twitter on Monday morning and gave his health update. “Guys I’m totally fine please don’t believe random stuff,” Shahid tweeted.

While the actor had been quiet about the reports earlier, a source close to him had quashed the rumours. Ashwin Varde, the co-producer of Shahid Kapoor’s film Kabir Singh, told Bombay Times: “Shahid filmed some intense action sequences in Lonalvala before leaving for Delhi for a short break. He will be back by December 10. He is fine.”

Amid the speculations, the actor has been quite active on social media and also posted a sun-kissed selfie with wife Mira Rajput.
On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor would next be seen in Kabir Singh, which is a Hindi remake of the south Indian film Arjun Reddy. The female lead in the film is Kiara Advani. The two will be sharing the silver screen for the first time, though they had been seen together in Urvasi Urvasi song for T-series. The film is slated to release on June 21, 2019.
