Akshay Kumar to make his Telugu debut with Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’
Doosukeltha' (2013) actor Manchu took to his official X page to share the news of Kumar joining 'Kannappa'.
Actor Akshay Kumar, who played a cupid in Asin and Rahul Sharma’s love story, came rushing to see his friends as soon as the good news reached his ears.
Akshay shared a picture of himself holding the newborn in his arms and smiles at the camera. He looks thrilled to have seen the little angel.
The actor shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, “One joy which is completely unmatched…congratulations to my dearest friends Asin and @rahulsharma on the arrival of their little angel.”

Ghajini actress Asin, who has maintained a low profile ever since she got married to co-founder of Micromax – Rahul Sharma is in the best phase of her life. The couple became proud parents to a baby girl on Tuesday (October 24).
The news was announced via a statement.
“We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today.
“The last nine months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support,” the statement read.
The actress also posted a picture of her hands on Instagram and wrote, “Ecstatic to announce the arrival of our Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love and wishes. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!”
Asin is known for movies like Ghajini, Ready and Khiladi 786.
The actress married Rahul Sharma in January last year. Her Khiladi 786 co-actor Akshay Kumar played the cupid, and it was post the movie that the affair between them started.
Their marriage was a lavish affair, which took place in Delhi. Many Bollywood celebrities were in presence at the wedding ceremonies.
