Anupam Kher has wrapped up the shooting schedule for his upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister in London. The veteran actor has been in the news for quite a time for his looks in the film.

Recently, a video was shared from the sets of The Accidental Prime Minister in which he was rehearsing to be former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The actor had himself shared the video on his social media handles.

Anupam on Friday night (April 20) shared a video of himself walking in a park. He captioned the video as, “Schedule wrap for ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. This place played a very important role for me to focus and internalise. Next schedule in India.”

Prior to this, Anupam Kher shared a few pictures from the sets and the actor has perfectly owned the character as the photographs suggest.

He shared another post in which he thanked the team of the film The Accidental Prime Minister.  His post read as, Thank you team #TheAccidental Prime Minister for the love and warmth. You all have been wonderful. See you soon in India for the next schedule.🙏🙏  #ScheduleWrap

In the film, Anupam Kher will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Akshay Khanna as author Sanjaya Baru.

Earlier in an interview session, Anupam Kher talked about his role in the film, he said, “The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr. Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where world knows his persona minutely. I have been internalising this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality.”

The film is expected to be released on December 21.
