One of the most anticipated films of 2018, Sanju, was released worldwide on Friday and reviews are from average to good. However, even before the actual release of the film, some websites have already leaked Sanju much to the surprise of Ranbir Kapoor’s fans.

On June 28, just a day before the film’s worldwide release, a website released the film’s torrent on the internet. This was first noted by Twitter users, who not only revealed about the film’s pirated version being leaked online but also advised people to watch the film on the silver screen.

Here are some tweets that grabbed eyeballs.

This user reveals that the film is leaked in HD! Check out his tweet:

Piracy has been a very serious issue in Bollywood as this is not first time when a film has been leaked before its release. 2018 alone has witnessed three pirated leaks in the first five months. In January Padmaavat was leaked online in an attempt to affect the box office collections of the film. Also, earlier this month, superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala was also leaked via a torrent on a popular website. However, it didn’t take long for the Thailava’s fan to boycott the website as they spoilt the fun of millions who were waiting for the release of Kaala.

Coming back to Sanju, the leaked version of the film won’t affect the film that much as according to trade pundits, the film is already on a roll at the box office as it witnessed the biggest advance booking of 2018 and is expected to have a phenomenal opening weekend. Owing to its subject, publicity and anticipation, Sanju just might be the biggest game changer of the year and a definite push that actor Ranbir Kapoor needs in his career.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanju stars an ensemble cast including the likes of Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Jim Sarbh and Boman Irani alongside Ranbir.
