Soni Razdan celebrates wedding anniversary, thanks ‘best friend’ Mahesh Bhatt
Soni Razdan expresses gratitude to husband Mahesh Bhatt on their anniversary, celebrating enduring love and partnership.
After days of speculations, Mahesh Bhatt surprised the audience with a grand announcement on Thursday. The ace director is returning with a sequel to his 1991 superhit Sadak.
After a long gap of 19 years, Mahesh Bhatt is returning to the job and will be directing daughter Alia Bhatt for the first time. The lead cast for Sadak 2 includes Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt.
On the occasion of Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthday, Alia shared a photograph introducing the family of Sadak 2. This will be the first time Alia will be working with elder sister Pooja. This is also the first time that Aditya and Alia would be sharing the silver screen together.

On Mahesh Bhatt’s birthday, Alia’s heartwarming post read: “Dear Daddy, On your 70th Birthday you have given me the greatest present I could ask and dream for. You are directing me! Sanjay Dutt, who has done acclaimed films such as Naam, Sadak and Gumrah with Mahesh Bhatt, also tweeted about Sadak 2 and wished Mahesh Bhatt on his birthday.

Sadak was a romantic thriller starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles. One of the highest grossing Hindi films of the 1990s, Sadak was inspired by the 1976 American movie Taxi Driver. The film also had actors Deepak Tijori and Neelima Azeem in pivotal roles. Both characters were shown to have been killed in the film.
Sadak 2 is scheduled to release on March 25, 2020.
